How far did the US economy boom in the 1920s?
The 1920s saw a period of economic boom (a period of time that sees individual incomes and company profits increase), this unit examines the various reasons for that boom. The image to the right shows a passenger aircraft in 1927. There were virtually no civilian airlines in 1918 but by 1930 the new aircraft companies flew 162,000 flights a year.
