Long-term consequences of the peace treaties

Soon after the TReaty of Versailles was signed in 1919, it began to cause major problems in Germany and for the new democratic German leaders. The Treaty of Versailles was hated by the German people and this was used very effectively by Hitler to help him become German leader in 1933.
