The Background to the League of Nations

After the First World War everyone wanted to avoid repeating the mass slaughter of the war that had just ended. They also agreed that a Leaue of Nations - an organisation that could solve international problems without resorting to war  - would help achieve this. This lesson looks at the the main events that led to the formation of the League.
